SASTA stands for the South African Schools Tennis Association and is an affiliate of TSA - Tennis South Africa
SASTA has been appointed by TSA to regulate tennis at school level within our Provincial areas
SASTA is committed to the principles of transformation and transparency embodied in TSA’s Constitution
Mission Statement:
The South African Schools Tennis Association (SASTA) has been formed to promote and develop school boys and girls tennis throughout South Africa.
Objectives:
- To promote, control, encourage and generally assist and protect the interests of the game of tennis at the High School level within the Provinces
- To uphold the laws and regulations of the game as applied by TSA and the International Tennis Federation (ITF) and to ensure compliance with their Constitutions and rules and regulations
- To draw up and coordinate with TSA an annual schools calendar incorporating all provincial schools leagues and schools festivals
- Generally to advance the interests of tennis
